As part of their advertising, our client—an insurer of credit unions—placed ads in trade publications before and during the tradeshows at which they exhibited.
They wanted to illustrate how their product supplemented credit unions' primary insurance programs, providing more of a good thing for credit union members.
Our copy played off of the idea that while sometimes “excess” can mean “too much,” in the case of coverage, “excess” is a good thing.
We selected images of people enjoying their lives to capture the feeling that comes with knowing you're safe and secure. Then we used the square element from their logo to call attention to portions of the pictures that further underscored the things in life that people want more of.
