The Cure for the Summertime Blues

Unless you’re a teacher, summer break becomes a thing of the past as soon as you get your first full-time job. And while there are advantages to working during the summer (a shorter commute thanks to not having to slow down in school zones, for example), we sometimes find ourselves longing for those carefree days of summers past. Vacations help with that, but they often add as much stress as they relieve.

Summer Hours

Of course, our clients are still our top priority. We always make sure deadlines are met, and that we are available for urgent needs. But on the Fridays that our schedules allow it, we hit the lights and lock the door around 1pm.

It may not seem like a lot of time off, but it’s enough to make more memories with family and friends. It’s a head start on the weekend. A little extra daylight to burn. Some time to chase down the ice cream man. And we come back on Monday with our creative batteries recharged and ready to go.

And that benefits our clients as much as it does us.
